NEW SEASON OF OnS?

Owari no Seraph definetely started out with a bang. For those desiring to watch it, it's a high recommendation from current watchers of the anime. Yuu and Mika have reunited and it seems that the season has come to an abrupt end, leaving the viewers on an undeniably excrutiating cliff-hanger. Who is Ferid's partner? Will Mika and Yuu be able to join forces, and somehow convince their allies to co-operate?

At the end of episode 12 of the new Owari no Seraph, there was what seemed like a date. A date, as figured out by the fandom of OnS, for a new season. The numbers given indicated that it were to come out sometime in October. The animators claimed that there would be 24 episodes in the whole series, meaning there would be another 12 in the new season. There aren't many details on the subject currently, so I will update as soon as possible on the subject.
